Comfort - Today, concrete pavement contractors routinely exceed stringent smoothness requirements established by state agencies. Also, new studies suggest that properly constructed concrete pavement are just as quiet as any other pavements. Environmental Friendliness - Portland cement concrete pavements require less energy to illuminate, reduce motor vehicle fuel consumption and are completely recyclable. Durability - Portland cement concrete pavements are so durable they routinely exceed their design lives.
