ACPA Provides Pavement ME Training for Arkansas

ACPA delivered a full day of training on designing concrete pavements utilizing AASHTO’s Pavement ME Design tool for Arkansas DOT through ACPA’s OK/AR Chapter. This tool is the state-of-the-art design technology that many DOTs are currently working to implement. ACPA’s training focused on how to ensure that designs can be optimized through strategies beyond increasing thicknesses and costs. The training also focused on the various pitfalls that designers may run into while using the complex tool.

Oklahoma Concrete at the Capitol

The Oklahoma Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association in partnership with the Oklahoma Ready Mixed Concrete Association recently hosted ‘Concrete at the Capitol’ day at the Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City. Four hundred frozen ‘Concrete’ custards were served to Oklahoma legislators, staff and association members.
