The 2024 Arkansas Concrete Pavement Conference held in Hot Springs, AR this past week was a huge success with over 120 transportation professionals in attendance. ARDOT Director, Lorie Tudor, opened the session thanking everyone for the exemplary work they do and emphasizing the need for safety on the roadway. Other topics ranged from implementing concrete overlays to Life Cycle Cost Analysis of a section of Interstate 40. The highlight of the program, however, was the presentation of a $10,000 check to the ‘ArDOT Fallen Workers Memorial’ fund commemorating the sacrifices of past employees in service to the traveling public. The OK/AR Chapter, ACPA would like to thank the speakers, exhibitors and sponsors for helping make this conference such a success. See you all next year!
